# Eve Water Guard Deal Summary **Selling Point:** You're saving $35 (32% off) on a reliable smart water leak detector with an extensive 490 ft sensing cable range, perfect for comprehensive home protection across multiple areas. **Trade-offs:** This device requires an Apple HomeKit ecosystem to function fully, so it's only suitable for iPhone/iPad users; the high-decibel alarm may be excessive in some settings, and the cable, while extendable, still has physical installation limitations. **Verdict:** Buy if you're invested in Apple HomeKit and concerned about water damage in your home; otherwise, pass and look for ecosystem-agnostic alternatives like Wyze or Eve's non-HomeKit competitors.
