# Deal Analysis **Selling Point:** This 14TB external drive offers massive storage capacity at a reasonable per-terabyte cost, making it ideal for backing up large media libraries or archiving files without breaking the bank. **Trade-offs:** The drive lacks advanced features like encryption, portability (it's desktop-sized and requires external power), and there's no current discount from the original price. Additionally, it's Windows-only without native Mac support, and external drives can be slower than internal storage for frequent access. **Verdict:** Buy if you need affordable bulk storage for a Windows PC and don't require portability or security features. Pass if you're looking for a deal (no discount here), need Mac compatibility, or prioritize speed and encryption.
